Support LASSO

Lasso needs help...

Did you know that it costs:

  • $35.00 to trim a horse's feet for two months...
  • $75.00/month to feed just one horse...
  • $60.00/month will pasture one horse for one month...
  • $110.00 to provide one horse with vaccines for six months...
In lieu of adoption, you can help us provide good food and care for our horses by making a donation. Your credit card transaction is secure because we use PayPal.
If you can help us with any of these items (below), please call or email us with comments and let us know how you might be able to help, it'll be greatly appreciated! (Please see the contact info below.)

1. Foster care facilities
Lasso really needs good facilities to board some of the horses it cares for...

2. New members
We're seeking new members to help with the many different tasks involved...

3. Can you volunteer to write grants?
If you have the ability and or experience to help write grants for us, we urgently need to talk to you.

4. We need good clean hay...
to feed the horses that we will be rescuing over the winter.

5. We need a digital camera.
to take pictures of the horses that are to be rescued in order to help publicize their situation, and, since digital pictures can be emailed anywhere where an interested foster "parent" might be, this helps greatly accelerate the adoption process. A more recent (faster) computer that works with modern peripherals (cameras and scanners, etc.) would be greatly appreciated, and we are in need of a printer and scanner, which will greatly help us save on the cost of distributing flyers, brochures and notices, etc.

6. We could use a donation of fence panels to help make a round pen...
A round pen is used to teach a horse ground manners, for starting the riding process, and to work some of the "attitude" out of them!

Thank you very much for your consideration. If you would like to learn more about our organization, please feel free to contact us by phone, email, or use our contact page, where you can enter your comments and relevant info.
