GUS
(1993) gelding
Here is our new boy. He is approximately 18 years
old and came to us the end of April with a wound (thought to be from an old gun
shot) just above his withers. The wound has healed nicely and he is
becoming quite a special guy. He is currently being ground schooled
and is ready to go to his new home.

CAPTAIN (1985) sorrel gelding POPPY (1993)
appaloosa gelding
Great ol’ quiet guy who is the eyes for his
buddy horse Poppy. Captain and Poppy are looking for a permanent loving
home with people who could give them a special place to call home. They
are a joy and will need someone who will appreciate their special bond.
Neither horse is rideable, just beautiful yard art for your pasture.

HONEY
(1990) appaloosa mare
For over 4 years she was the seeing eye horse for Navajo
Joe. She has earned a place in a fabulous home of retirement. She is
minimally rideable.

COOPER (2004) palomino gelding
Good looking, easy keeper, and very interested in
people. He is very inquisitive and willing to please. Green broke to ride.
Cooper experienced trauma to his jaw as a yearling. He is perfectly
healthy, but will need someone to be very gentle and willing to ride with
a hackamore.

DIEGO
(1996) bay gelding
Good looking mustang who sports a very classy BLM brand.
He is an awesome thinker. It is apparent that no one has taken the time to
be very kind prior to his rescue, but he is doing very well developing his
people skills. He needs “A” person. Trust will come slowly, but he
will be a great companion for someone who will provide patience and
perseverance.

RHOBI (2003) sorrel gelding
Just tooo handsome! Rhobi had a tough beginning, but he
now owns us as “his” people. Very animated and intelligent. He must go
to a really loving person because he will own you! Rhobi must be provided
with a special “clog” shoe due to an old hoof injury. Make no mistake,
he moves just fine.

NAVAJO JOE
We would love to know this old man's story- tales to
tell. He's somewhat timid, but kind and patient. He needs a
warm climate for a permanent home to live out his old age.
Joe made his transition to greener pastures on Christmas
Eve 2010.
